Mingle Media TV and Red Carpet Report host, Cricket Lee, were invited to cover the 38th Annual Saturn Awards in Burbank. This was our 3rd year covering our favorite genre event, the Saturn Awards AKA the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films and this year’s event was another fun time on the red carpet talking to many of our favorite stars. This year Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Super 8 were winners along with Breaking Bad and Fringe.

“In one of the most rewarding years ever for genre entertainment, these films and TV shows proved that imagination, creativity and technology are blending in extraordinary ways, allowing these previously specialized genres to become the very heart of the entertainment industry,” said Academy President Robert Holguin.
