Mingle Media TV and Red Carpet Report host, Stephanie Garrett, were invited to cover the Imagen Foundation’s 27th Annual Imagen Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The Imagen Foundation’s “Imagen Awards” recognize and honor the positive portrayal of Latinos in all media, as well as achievements of Latinos in the entertainment and communications industries.

Special recognition was given to Jenni Rivera, Latin music artist, star and Executive Producer of “I Love Jenni” and Executive Producer “Jenni Rivera Presents: Chiquis ‘n Control” who received the President’s Award while Producer, Director and Community Leader Moctezuma Esparza received the Lifetime Achievement Award.

What was very exciting for us to see was the recognition of new media and web series. Here are the nominees in this medium:
