You ever get that feeling where you feel like your life might possibly be complete if you just had a chance to see your favorite bands all in one concert? Yeah, well all I can say is, be still my beating heart.
Every year since 2013, for a few days, Napa transforms from quiet wine country, in to an event that will rock your cashmere silk knee dress socks off. For three days, over 60 bands across three stages take over and blow fans away with incredible performances! Many greats have tread across those stages, from Joan Jett, The Black Keys, Florence + The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, to many, many others. Now, as the incredible event is on the horizon for 2017, we just got word about who will be headlining this year’s festival, and to be honest, I’m stoked like a 5-year old going to Disneyland!
Announced this morning, the lineup for the 2017 BottleRock Napa Valley music festival stands at Maroon 5, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, and Foo Fighters! David Grohl will be in the house! The three-event will also feature wine, food, and craft brew, all taking place over the course of Memorial Day weekend at the Napa Valley Expo.
Along with the headliners, the festival looks to host its largest number of bands to date, quoting at over 80 other performers for the rock’n weekend. Some of the names that are being announced are Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Modest Mouse, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, The Roots, Silversun Pickups, Band of Horses, Fitz & The Tantrums, Dirty Heads, Live, The Naked and Famous, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Gavin DeGraw, St. Lucia, House of Pain, Bob Moses, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Saint Motel, The Strumbellas, AlunaGeorge and Andra Day.
