Madame Tussauds San Francisco collaborated with Give Me Shelter Cat Rescue to help launch a campaign featuring adoptable cats and kittens along with a new Taylor Swift figure, who is also a well-known cat lover of her Insta-famous feline friends, Meredith and Olivia.

Ten-time Grammy-winning Taylor’s wax figure is ready for fans and felines to celebrate the upcoming release of Taylor’s sixth studio album, Reputation, by getting up-close and personal with the superstar’s never-seen-before wax figure – launched today only at Madame Tussauds San Francisco.

“As huge fans of Taylor’s we really wanted to have some fun with this launch,” Madame Tussauds San Francisco General Manager Dalia Goldgor said. “Anyone who follows her on Instagram knows Taylor is a huge cat-lover so this was a very fitting, fun and furry way to celebrate her new figure and upcoming album.”

Swift’s new Reputation album is edgier, so fans are warned to be “ready for it.” Her statue is complete with sheer black lace lingerie and her “red lip classic thing that you like,” the figure is valued at approximately $350,000.

About Give Me Shelter Cat Rescue
Founded in 2003 by Lana Bajsel, Give Me Shelter Cat Rescue (a registered 501(C)3 non-profit organization), has worked tirelessly within the San Francisco community to help stop the overpopulation of abandoned and unwanted adult and senior cats.

As a small group of dedicated volunteers, we try to save as many feline lives as we can. We provide behavioral and medical intervention, unconditional love and a safe haven while we seek new forever homes for our feline friends.

Every day adult and senior cats with treatable medical and behavior conditions are euthanized. Give Me Shelter’s goal is to rescue these cats and place them into loving permanent homes. See more at http://www.givemesheltersf.org/
