The Director’s Guild of America held their 70th annual DGA Awards at the Beverly Hilton with the event hosted by writer, director, and producer Judd Apatow.

Top winners were REED MORANO for The Handmaid’s Tale, Guillermo del Toro for The Shape of Water and Jordan Peele for Get Out, as a first time director.

Since it’s inception, there have been 63 DGA Award for film directing winners to go on to win the Oscar for best director! Not bad odds!
